Clinical Psychologist

Kim is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked in community, outpatient, and specialist mental health settings. Her specific areas of expertise include complex/chronic health issues and anxiety disorders. She also has extensive experience working with people from different cultural backgrounds and settlement experiences.
Kim was awarded a PhD in Clinical Psychology by Monash University, where her research focused on understanding treatments for anxiety disorders. Her work has been published in peer reviewed journals and books, and has been presented at international conferences.
Kim particularly enjoys working with anxiety and related problems (e.g., stress, trauma, perfectionism), mood issues and depression, living with complex and/or chronic illness (e.g., ME/CFS, POTS, fibromyalgia), and adjustment to difficult life changes.
Kim is trained in a range of evidence-based treatments including cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. Her approach is flexible and adaptive, ensuring that therapy is tailored to meet each person’s individual needs and goals.
Kim’s clients appreciate her warm, supportive, and non-judgemental approach, and enjoy her down to earth style and gentle sense of humour.
